John is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in grade school. An avid sports fan, John played basketball and hockey in high school, and it was this love for sports that prompted to him to pursue a Sport Management and Business Administration degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. While in college, John developed a strong interest in marketing, especially after participating in an internship with the Carolina Hurricanes in the team’s marketing department, and decided to pursue a career in this field upon graduating in 2000.

After relocating to North Carolina, John began his career as an Advertising Executive at the Durham Herald-Sun Newspaper. Two years later he accepted a position as the Director of Client Services with Sheer Associates, Inc., a local marketing firm.

In 2009, John started Streszoff Marketing and has served as an extension of the marketing department for several companies in the legal, health care, real estate and construction industries. He assisted these companies with all aspects of their marketing including website design, development and content management; graphic design and print production; email blast/newsletter design, development and deployment; social media management; online advertising and search engine optimization; copywriting; and proofreading.
